Biography
Yadhna Gosai is an academic and legal educator specialising in South African medical law and legal education innovation. She currently serves as a National Lecturer in Law at Emeris, where she leads curriculum design, moderation, and academic quality for multiple undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes. Her main research themes centre on minors’ consent to medical treatment, the intersection of bioethics and constitutional rights, and the integration of artificial intelligence in legal education. Notable achievements include presenting at international conferences on AI and Gen Z legal learning. Yadhna is currently completing her PhD in Medical Law, focusing on the constitutional and ethical dimensions of children’s medical decision-making in South Africa, while also leading projects to embed experiential and AI-enhanced learning in legal curricula. She has also served as a reviewer for the South African Journal of Bioethics and Law is an active member of the Global Health Network.
