Admissions at Emeris

At Emeris, we welcome a diverse community of students from across South Africa and around the world. Whether you’re applying locally or internationally, our admissions process is designed to be clear, supportive, and accessible - ensuring every qualified applicant has the opportunity to thrive in our academic environment.

Step 1: Apply online

  • Complete the application form.
  • Pay the R400 application fee (non-refundable).
  • Application deadline for undergraduate contact studies is Friday, 31 October 2025. After that, the late application fee of R1 750 will be applicable (late application fee does not apply to postgraduate and distance studies).

Submit the following:

  • South African citizens: a copy of your ID.
  • International students: a certified copy of your passport.
  • For undergraduate studies, a copy of your most recent school report or final school leaving results.
  • For postgraduate studies, a certified copy of your latest academic transcript and a certified copy of your undergraduate qualification (if already completed).

Step 2: Accepting your offer

Once your eligibility for admission has been assessed, you will receive an offer letter to study. You will be notified by email and must follow the prompts to view your offer on the application portal.

Accept your offer on the portal and pay the non-refundable pre-registration fee of R3 000 before the expiry date to secure your spot.

This fee will cover the deposit at the point of registration and be deducted from your tuition fees.

Step 3: Admission Approval

  • Your admission will be approved once all your correctly certified documents are reflecting on the application portal and you successfully meet the admission requirements for your relevant qualification.
  • Ensure you submit your outstanding school leaving results or academic transcript on the Application Portal or to your Student Advisor.

Step 4: Registration

Registration opens early January 2026.
Once your admission is approved, you will receive a link via email to the registration portal.

  • You will also receive a how-to guide, along with other important information, to assist you with the registration process.
