Biography

I am the Head of Management Studies at Emeris Waterfall, where I oversee the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate commerce programmes. I have 10 A’ list publications which are divided as 5 journal articles, 3 book chapters and 2 conference proceedings up to date. My teaching philosophy is grounded in constructivism and use various learning management systems, including Blackboard, ARC and Moodle which I use to deliver content synchronously and asynchronously. I hold a PhD in Marketing Management, Master of Business Leadership (MBL) with a focus on Management and Marketing, an Honours BCom (Marketing & Management), a BCom (Marketing), and a Diploma in Education. My research interests lie in the areas of collaborative consumption in emerging markets, entrepreneurship, leadership, management, diversity, teaching and learning in higher education. Currently, I am supervising three Master’s candidates from IIE MSA and five PGD Corporate Governance student from EM Online. I analyse data using Excel, SPSS, AMOS, Mplus, and Atlas.ti.
