Biography
Tebogo Sharon Rakgogo is an IT academic and the Head of Computer Science, with experience in lecturing and curriculum coordination since 2008. She began developing her formal research career in 2023 and is currently completing a master’s degree in project management at the University of Pretoria. Her postgraduate research focuses on assessing the accuracy of machine learning forecasting methods in South African IT projects, comparing traditional estimation tools with models such as Random Forest and Neural Networks.
Alongside her Master’s work, Tebogo has produced several publications on digital learning practices in higher education. Her studies explore student experiences with cloud technologies during the COVID-19 lockdown, the use of Git and GitHub in IT education, machine learning applications in e-learning systems, and strategies for enhancing engagement through portfolio-based assessments.
Her work reflects an interest in machine learning, IT project management, and technology-enhanced teaching and learning.
