Biography

Nwamaka Nwogwugwu is a senior lecturer in public health (Teaching and Learning) at Emeris Ruimsig. She is a public health researcher and has a master’s degree in Demography and Population studies from the University of the Witwatersrand. As a senior lecturer, Nwamaka Nwogwugwu is responsible for module development, year level coordinator and lecturing a number of public health modules. Nwamaka is also responsible for experiential learning, coordinating and placing students at different organizations for health promotion practicum where students complete 100 hours of field placement.

She has published articles in international journals and presented at international conferences. She has also published a chapter in a book. Nwamaka Nwogwugwu has supervised research students (Public health Honors).
