Biography

I hold a Bachelor of Information Science Honours, Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education and currently pursuing my Master of Information Studies degree.  My topic for my dissertation focuses on AI literacy and how information specialist can encourage ethical use. My main research areas are - AI literacy, Information literacy, Library technologies, library user experiences, A highlight of my academic journey was presenting a paper title:  The use of information resources by undergraduate students at a Cape Private Higher Education Institution at ICERI2025 18th annual International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation in Seville, Spain. The ICERI conference experience not only going to showcase my work internationally but also provided me with an opportunity to connect with researchers and this inspired me for future collaborations. My future aspirations are to expand my research through publications and exploring new projects that will contribute to the evolving field of librarianship.
