Mohini Pather is a Lecturer in Management at Emeris, based in Nelson Mandela Bay. She holds expertise in economics and emerging technologies, with a strong focus on integrating innovation into higher education. Her research centres on blockchain applications and the development of an African Digital Currency Union, exploring how digital finance can transform economic systems across the continent. Mohini has contributed to curriculum design by incorporating AI-enhanced learning strategies and interactive teaching methodologies, earning recognition through a recent teaching award nomination. She has published 4 papers in DHET-accredited journals, examining the intersection of blockchain and regional economic integration.
