Biography
Linda Fekisi is a journalist and academic. Her Master’s was a comparative study of Drum magazine’s coverage of the 1976 Soweto Uprisings to the 2015 Fees Must Fall protests. She’s an avid supporter of contextual storytelling, exploring hidden narratives and challenging misrepresentation.
Her interests are curriculum development, erasure, contemporary media history and representation. She is a PhD Candidate at the University of South Africa (UNISA).
