Biography

Lelethu Nogwavu is a Law Lecturer at the Faculty of Law. She is also a PhD Candidate at the Department of Public Law, University of Cape Town. She holds an LLM in Constitutional and Administrative Law, which she completed with distinction in her dissertation, also at the University of Cape Town. During her studies, Lelethu worked as a researcher at the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit (DGRU) and has held various positions in civil society organisations. She obtained her LLB from the University of the Western Cape. Lelethu’s primary research interests include Human Rights Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Criminal Justice, Refugee Law, Child Law, and Cyber Law.
