Biography

I am currently the Head of Humanities at Emeris Durban North. I have worked in the Higher Education sector for 18 years. I have lectured in the fields of Psychology and Education for the last 13 years and currently a Supervisor for Psychology Honours students. I am also currently a PhD candidate at the University of KwaZulu Natal. Research enables me to combine my love of writing, education and inquiry into meaningful contributions to academia. Since starting my current role 18 months ago, I started writing for conferences and journals. This year I presented at the UNISA International Teaching and Learning Conference in May and the digiTAL 2025 Conference in November and will also be presenting at the IIE Conference in Cape Town. I currently have 2 journal articles and 1 book chapter that have been accepted for publication – so watch this space!
