Biography

Kelsey Nebbe is an anthropologist who seeks to make universities her field sites. She applies social and medical anthropology theories into exploring and understanding the experiences of students and staff of universities. Her Masters of Social Science and prior qualifications were obtained from Rhodes University. Currently, she is presenting at conferences and publishing papers based on her Masters thesis into the longitudinal impact of the COVID-19 pandemic had on first-year student integration into a small public residential university in South Africa.
