Biography
Ingrid is a Law Lecturer as the Sandton Campus with a background in private law, having completed her Master’s degree on a full research dissertation on a Comparative Analysis on The National Credit Act – Reckless lending.
Ingrid’s academic interests primarily focus on Law of contract and specifically within the National Credit Act and she also enjoy reading research on the Constitutional Law.
Throughout her studies, Ingrid has developed expertise in interpretating and applying legislation (especially the National Credit Act, Constitution and the Consumer Protection Act, critically analysing case law and statutory developments and improving my academic writing and argumentation which has shaped her analytical approach and informed my research direction.
Ingrid has presented at the Faculty of Law Indaba as well as Research seminars hosted by VUT, which have strengthened her engagement in the field and broadened her academic contributions. Additionally, she has been involved in the 4th year LLB students research reports as supervisor.
