Biography
DonnaI studied management in England following on from a career in the performing arts, classical ballet. She has industry experience in marketing, strategy, data management and statistics as well as project management in entertainment business sectors both abroad and in South Africa. In terms of academics, Donna has decades of lecturing and mentoring experience in the various disciplines of performing arts but more recently in management, marketing, project management and brand strategy subjects. For academic research specifically, she enjoys learning about how society and economies operate, especially the people and aspects that make it a lived reality. Donna’s current studies revolve around how creative mind students learn linear aspects, and another study is about the consumer differences by generation. Lastly, Donna is currently working on a longitudinal research study with art auctioneers Christies in London about contemporary art values and the leverage effect of branding.
