The FNB Emeris Rugby Club proudly competes in the prestigious FNB Varsity Cup, placing us among the top eight university rugby institutions in South Africa. In 2026, Emeris Rugby Club also participated in the Varsity Cup Young Guns competition, a great opportunity to get some #rugbythatrocks experience for our u20 players. After a stellar performance by the Cup team beating FNB CUT, UFS Shimlas, and had the closest losing margin to the 2026 Championships UP-Tuks, the Emeris Comets will be in the FNB Varsity Cup again in 2027. Our commitment to development and competition continues with participation in USSA 15s and 7s tournaments, giving both our men and ladies the opportunity to represent at national level.
