Your Emeris registration process

New first year Undergraduate and Postgraduate students

Please read the important information below regarding the Emeris Application, Admission and Registration process. 

Step 1: Enquire
Not sure what you want to study? View the IIE Qualifications on offer and begin your journey with an enquiry. Your enquiry will be followed up with an appointment – an opportunity to discuss your qualification and career choices.

If you have already completed this step - proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Apply
Once you have made your decision – it is time to apply. You will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee and provide us with certified copies of your national ID or passport, as well as your school leaving results to date. Once you have made your decision – it is time to apply.

Step 3: Pay
When we have successfully receipted your application fee – you will receive an application confirmation letter and log in credentials to your application portal. Your application portal is important for uploading documents and receiving important communication and information.

If you have already completed this step - proceed to step 4.

Step 4: Accept your Offer 
Your application will be assessed, and you will be considered for Admission based on your eligibility to date. You will receive an Offer Letter of Admission which will be sent via email and to your application portal. You must accept the offer and pay the non-refundable Pre-Registration fee of R3000.

If you have already completed this step - proceed to step 5.

Step 5: Admission 
Your eligibility will be determined based on your final results. Once your Admission is approved, you will need to visit your campus to complete your registration.

STEP 1: Invitation to Register
When registration opens for 2026, and you have submitted all the documents required for admission, paid your non-refundable pre-registration fee and your admission has been approved, you will receive an invitation to register via email. Your portal username (STxxxxxx) and password, as well as the hyperlink to the portal will be included in your invitation to register email.

IMPORTANT
If you have forgotten your password, or need to reset it, you can do this through the Forgot Password” option on the student portal.

Please wait 5- 10 minutes for your new password to be sent to you via SMS, and do not attempt to reset your password again until you receive your first password reset notification.

Our Password Policy

  1. Your Password must a minimum of 8 characters
  2. Your password must include a minimum of 1 special character
  3. Your password must include a minimum of 1 numerical digit
  4. Your password must include a minimum of 1 capital letter

If you are still unable to log onto your account, check your internet connection and try clearing your browser cache by pressing the following buttons on your keyboard CTRL SHIFT R or CTRL F5.

STEP 2: Documents
Have the following documentation ready- copy of the fee payer national ID or passport and proof of banking account details (no older than 3 months)

Read your campus registration guide and watch the registration video.

STEP 4: Register and Pay
Proceed to the portal

  • Select your payment term and modules.
  • Ensure your personal details are up to date.
  • Ensure your address details are complete and correct.
  • Complete your fee payer details, upload their national ID or passport and the proof of account details.
  • Make payment via the PayU portal.
  • Accept your registration Terms and Conditions
  • Submit your registration request.

Online registration should take about 20 minutes to complete. You will receive your proof of registration email once we have validated your registration request and payment. Please allow up to 5 working days for validation of your registration request to be done.
